You have one contractual partner for purchasing, payment and delivery. We confirm the total price and the expected delivery time in writing in our quote.

How our trading model works

Purchasing from manufacturers and distributors

We buy the goods ourselves, based on your requirements.

Delivery via Germany

We usually bring the goods to Germany first and resell them from there, within Germany or abroad.

Direct delivery

On request, we ship directly from the supplier to your site when that is faster or cheaper.

One contractual partner

You buy from GKM Global. Questions, payment and delivery go through us instead of several suppliers.

Export and customs

GKM Global is the seller of the goods. We file some export declarations ourselves. Others are handled by a customs broker or the freight forwarder. Our quote states who handles import clearance in the country of destination.

GKM Global is not a freight forwarder, does not act as a customs representative for third parties and does not provide legal advice.

The order process

  1. Request

    You tell us the manufacturer, part number, quantity, delivery location and intended use.

  2. Quote

    We contact the manufacturer or distributor and send you the total price, the expected delivery time and the delivery terms under Incoterms 2020.

  3. Order and payment

    You place a written order and pay as agreed in the quote. New customers usually pay in advance against a proforma invoice. We then order from the supplier.

  4. Export and shipping

    For deliveries outside the EU, we file the export declaration ourselves or have it filed by a customs broker or the freight forwarder. A parcel service or freight forwarder delivers the goods to the agreed location.

  5. Documents

    You receive the commercial invoice with the HS code, country of origin and weights, together with the delivery note.
